 1.30 lakh profit

 In the account opened under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, a total benefit of Rs 1.30 lakh is given to the account holder.  Accident insurance is also given in this.  The account holder is given accident insurance of Rs 1,00,000 and general insurance of Rs 30,000.  In such a situation, if the account holder becomes an accident, then Rs 30,000 is given.  If the account holder dies in this accident, then one lakh rupees are given, i.e., the total benefit of 1.30 lakh rupees is given.

 What is Jan Dhan Account?

 Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) is the most ambitious financial program that ensures access to banking / savings and deposit accounts, remittances, loans, insurance, pensions.  This account can be opened in any bank branch or business representative (Bank Mitra) outlet.  PMJDY accounts are being opened with zero balance.

 How to open an account?

 Under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, accounts are opened more in public sector banks.  But, if you want, you can also open your Jan Dhan account in a private bank.  If you have any other savings account, you can also convert it into Jan Dhan account.  Any citizen residing in India, whose age is 10 years or more, can open a Jan Dhan account.

 These documents are needed

 Verification of documents is necessary under KYC for opening a Jan Dhan account.  Jan Dhan account can be opened using these documents.  Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID Card, Passport, MNREGA Job Card.
