DM constitutes inquiry committee into mother's death in private hospital
Rampur. On Thursday, the anger of the family members flared up over the death of the mother after delivery in a private hospital. The family members created a ruckus on the private hospital and demanded action. On which the police sent the body for post-mortem. After this, the DM has constituted an inquiry committee and sought a report in the matter.
Satendra Chaudhary, a resident of Rasularpur village of Shahbad area, admitted his wife Dolly (26) to a private hospital in Civil Lines police station area on Wednesday due to labor pain. Where after delivery on Wednesday, Dolly gave birth to a girl child. After this Dolly's condition started deteriorating. Relatives say that when Dolly became unconscious due to deteriorating condition, the hospital operator referred her. On which he took Dolly to another private hospital in the city. Where the doctor examined Dolly in the ambulance itself and declared her dead. After this, the family again brought Dolly's body to the same private hospital where the delivery took place. Here the relatives started creating a ruckus alleging negligence in treatment and referring Dolly after her death. On information, CO City Vidyakishore Sharma reached the spot along with the police force. Later the police sent the body for post-mortem. In the matter, District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandar has constituted a committee of Health Department officials under the leadership of City Magistrate and ordered an inquiry. At the same time, the District Magistrate said that action will be taken against the unregistered hospitals by running a massive campaign in the district. In which the campaign will be run under the leadership of SDM in all tehsils and City Magistrate in the city.
